Led by founder Elaine Moreau, a door installation expert who developed a particular passion for French door systems during more than 12 years in the home remodeling industry, Tolvex was built to give homeowners access to a team that lives and breathes French doors. What drove the founding of Tolvex that most general contractors approached French door installations as a routine task — without understanding the alignment, sealing, and operational precision that French doors require.

We handle a comprehensive range of French door types and materials including traditional wood panel and glass units, high-performance fiberglass units with insulated glass packages, narrow-profile contemporary designs, and fully glazed bi-fold varieties. If your installation involves replacing an exterior unit opening onto a patio or garden, creating interior separation with full-glass French doors, or installing a dramatic full-height glass panel system as a focal feature, our installation specialists for the job.

Clients in the Pacific Grove, CA area who have dealt with other contractors on French doors know that the details matter. When French doors are not perfectly aligned creates daily frustration and operational failures that only a full reinstallation can fix. Our approach starts with a thorough evaluation of the rough opening, frame condition, and surrounding structure, followed by careful frame preparation to create the exact conditions the door configuration needs.
