Top Artisan Wood Countertop Services in Salisbury, VT

Custom Wood Countertop Fabrication by Craftwood is a Burlington-based custom wood countertop fabrication and installation company with seven years of experience crafting one-of-a-kind wooden work surfaces for any surface where warmth, character, and craftsmanship matter throughout Vermont and the surrounding New England region including Salisbury, VT.In an era of mass-produced stone and quartz surfaces, a real wood surface delivers something genuinely distinct — the natural warmth, grain variation, and aging character that no manufactured material can replicate. Salisbury, VT residents who choose a custom wood countertop choose a living material — not a static one.

Craftwood's artisan fabricators work with premium domestic hardwoods including black walnut, hard maple, white oak, cherry, and white ash, plus reclaimed and sustainably harvested timber for homeowners who value the history and provenance of their material. Multiple countertop styles can be fabricated — flat-grain butcher block, end-grain cutting surface tops, live-edge slabs for statement kitchen islands, and custom multi-wood designs for clients with a clear artistic vision for their space.

All fabrication starts with thoughtful, hands-on material selection — selecting material with the exact grain movement, figure, and color needed to produce a countertop that is both stunning and structurally sound — through precision milling, lamination, surfacing, edge work, sanding, and finishing in the Salisbury, VT workshop.

All Craftwood finishes include food-safe options or catalyzed lacquer finishes are applied depending on the client's usage requirements and maintenance preferences. In addition to new fabrication, they deliver refinishing services for existing wood countertops that need renewed protection and appearance after years of use, bringing them back to a fresh, protected, beautiful surface.
