Top Elastomeric Flat Roof Specialists in Edgewood, NM

Elastomeric coatings address the most destructive forces acting on flat roofs in the Southwest reflecting UV radiation to reduce surface temperatures, sealing seams and small cracks against moisture intrusion, and creating a flexible membrane that accommodates thermal movement without splitting or delaminating. The specialists at Elastovex Roof Coatings is an Albuquerque-based roofing contractor with seven years of experience specializing in elastomeric coating systems for flat and low-slope roofs across residential, commercial, and industrial properties in New Mexico.

No Elastovex coating is applied without a detailed pre-application inspection to assess surface condition, identify areas requiring repair before coating, and confirm that the existing substrate is a viable candidate for coating rather than replacement. Areas requiring repair before coating — blisters, cracks, failed seams, and deteriorated flashing are repaired and cured before the primer and coating system is applied — because applying a quality coating over unrepaired surface defects simply covers a failure that will re-emerge from beneath the coating within the warranty period. Elastovex selects the primer and coating system based on the specific roof substrate ensuring that the coating system bonds correctly to the specific substrate and performs to manufacturer specifications over the full warranty period. Albuquerque's intense sun makes reflective white coatings particularly valuable for reducing cooling loads cut cooling loads significantly by reflecting solar energy that would otherwise be absorbed and conducted into the building, reducing air conditioning costs from the first summer after application.

Elastovex serves commercial property owners, industrial facility managers, and residential flat-roof homeowners with the same level of technical assessment and application discipline on every project regardless of property type or scale.
