Trusted Custom New Deck Services in The Dalles, OR

A custom deck is one of the most rewarding additions a homeowner in The Dalles, OR can make to their property but building a deck in Portland's climate requires specific design and construction knowledge — proper moisture management, material selection for Pacific Northwest conditions, and structural detailing that holds up through wet winters and dry summers. Prolvex Deck Builders delivers the design consultation, permit management, construction quality, and weather-specific detailing that a Portland-area deck deserves.

Prolvex handles every element of the project in-house including design, permitting, materials procurement, framing, decking installation, railing, and stairs — so clients work with a single point of accountability rather than coordinating between a designer and a separate build crew. Prolvex works with both natural wood and composite decking materials and is equally skilled in the specific installation requirements each demands. Building a deck in The Dalles, OR that holds up through Oregon winters requires specific knowledge of moisture management, flashing technique, and material selection and our framing methods, flashing details, and material selections are all informed by years of building in this environment — ensuring that every Prolvex deck resists moisture intrusion and holds up structurally through wet winters as well as dry summers. Permit acquisition and coordination with the local building department are part of every Prolvex scope — permit fees are included in the project estimate and a passed final inspection is provided to the client at project closeout.

Our founder, Jesse Nakamura, established Prolvex a structural carpenter with eleven years of residential construction experience in the Portland metro. He is directly involved in every active project and performs the final quality review before handover.
