Established by Caleb Norris, a certified roofing and fenestration specialist with over a decade and a half of combined roofing, glazing, and construction expertise, Caleb founded the company after repeatedly encountering homeowners who had skylights poorly installed by general contractors who lacked the specialized knowledge required for watertight, long-lasting results. He built the company specifically to fill that gap — offering focused, expert service that treats skylight installation as the skilled trade it is. He holds certifications in roofing systems and energy-efficient glazing and continuously advances expertise through manufacturer-sponsored product and installation training. He is directly involved in all installation consultations and oversees quality inspections at project completion.

The company installs and repairs all major skylight brands and configurations — standard fixed skylights, operable venting units, tubular daylighting devices, and fully automated solar-powered skylights. Each engagement starts through a detailed assessment of roof conditions and ceiling configuration to identify the optimal placement for maximum light gain and minimal structural disruption.

All work is completed internally without subcontracting core installation tasks — covering structural opening work, curb construction, unit fitting, flashing installation, and interior shaft finishing. Every technician on a Bright Sky Lighting project is a trained, vetted member of the team — no third-party crews on any installation. The leak prevention methodology is performed to a rigorous standard to deliver a watertight installation that performs through rain, snow, and freeze-thaw cycling.

For homeowners and property owners in Conejos, CO with existing skylights that have aged, cracked, or developed moisture infiltration, Bright Sky Lighting further delivers leak repair, resealing, glass swap, and complete unit changeout.
